The ABC’s of Salvation

Do you want to begin your journey to the kingdom of God? As with any wonderful expedition, it begins with your first step. You can start here with Matthew 7:7 as your foundation, Ask, Seek, Knock.

A ASK and forgiveness shall be given you

“Dear LORD, I don’t want to sin any more. Looking back, I regret all the things I’ve done wrong. I ask You to forgive me.”

B SEEK and you shall find Jesus for He has certainly sought you

“Jesus, I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead to give me new life. Please come into my heart and be my LORD and Savior!“

C KNOCK and entrance into the kingdom of God shall be opened unto you

“I know that I need You to help me pray, to help me read and understand what You’re saying in Your Bible, and to help me stay on track. Amen in Jesus’ name.”

You are now “saved” according to Romans 8:9: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Hallelujah!

This is the first leg of your journey to the kingdom of God! Now, you need instruction and fellowship to help you stay the course. I pray the LORD reveal the perfect church for you to become a mature believer as you grow in Christ. Amen in Jesus’ name.

Through this website A Christian Study, Abraham Publishing offers studies to help you continue, develop, and grow in faith, knowledge, wisdom, understanding and love. I urge you to click on the Christian Studies’ link and choose studies to help you. “Getting to Know the Holy Spirit” is a really good place to start.

FYI, "salvation” doesn’t mean just to go to heaven when you die (which is the most important thing in the world since everyone of us will one day perish), but it more fully means help, victory, prosperity, health, and wellbeing right here on Planet Earth, for Jesus came to give us superabundant life forevermore and NOW (John 10:10 and as understood throughout the Bible).

Love in Christ and God bless you,
