The Bible and Prayer Power Hour

The Power of the Name of Jesus

Are you hungry for the presence of God, power, and answered prayer in your and your family’s daily lives? Is God calling you to an anointed prayer ministry? Read this, pray, and write me as He leads you: Marylynn This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

In 1998 on a Sunday evening, the LORD called me to a large church service that was not at my usual church. Shortly after arriving, the usher who had seated me had a grand mal seizure. I rushed to him and prayed until he was restored. I sensed I was to leave – that God’s purpose for my being there had been fulfilled – and I experienced His release. As I drove away, God spoke clearly to my spirit (and I had to pull over to write it down): “You are to begin The Bible and Prayer Power Hour because people need to understand and call upon the power of the Name of Jesus.”

Weekly since The Bible and Prayer Power Hour began, I have followed His command. Recently, He provided a free venue to hold it, although it can be ANYWHERE and ANYTIME He leads! As we have been obedient, He has increased the results of answered prayer, oftentimes miraculously. What God has called and ordained, He answers and completes.

Bible study, discipleship, healing, miracles, worship, forgiveness, deliverance, and empowerment are integral elements of every meeting, whether two or 22 of us! It is expository teaching of the Word of God in Truth where we break it down – line on line, precept on precept – for “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter,” Proverbs 25:2. God wants us to understand, move, and have our beings in the power and authority of the name of Jesus. This isn't about staying the same; it’s about becoming and growing as the new creatures in Christ He and we want to be, for being born of God means leaving all the past behind that is not of Him.

The LORD has put it upon my heart to invite evangelical Christians to begin The Bible and Prayer Power Hour in their community. If you are interested, please inquire to my email. There are no monetary investments or agendas to follow as long as you adhere to our Mission Statement and God’s express lead. Please do not take an offering for the ministry itself or any personal benefit, but only as led to do so for a specific brother/sister/community’s need. Simply put, if you are called to do The Bible and Prayer Power Hour, you will know and it will work through the power of the LORD Jesus Christ as you are obedient to the Word of God. God has blessed this ministry abundantly with answered prayers through the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus and He will bless yours. That is what we seek: His presence and results.

To live, maintain, and teach Truth – sound doctrine – from the Holy Bible is this ministries’ purpose. The King James Version is foundational; other versions/root Word studies are used as the Holy Spirit leads. We believe The Apostles’ Creed: We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord and only Savior, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. We believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy universal church that Jesus Christ established through the Apostles and Disciples; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen. Yes, and we believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and evidence as He fills us to accomplish His purpose.

“Our prayers lay the track down on which God’s power can come. Like a mighty locomotive, his power is irresistible, but it cannot reach us without rails.” - Watchman Nee

Let’s lay tracks!
